Lucas Flores | Digital Forensics Expert
Empowering Truth, Protecting Trust
Lucas Flores is a licensed Texas private investigator with 23 years of law enforcement experience in digital forensics, including a tenure as a United States Secret Service Cyber Fraud Task Force Officer. He built and directed a regional digital forensics laboratory that grew to serve 13 agencies and process over 700 devices annually.
His technical work spans computer and mobile device forensics, binary-level analysis of mobile data, and the investigation of business email compromise, ransomware, and other cybercrime. He also performs advanced data recovery, including board-level repair and chip-off extraction that can recover evidence from devices previously thought inaccessible, the kind of work where other examiners stop.
With expert and factual testimony in hundreds of matters, Lucas brings credibility, clarity, and precision to complex digital evidence. He was recognized by the National Computer Forensics Institute as one of its top examiners in 2022, and is endorsed by sitting prosecutors and district attorneys across Texas.
Veritas accepts retained engagements from civil litigators, criminal defense firms, insurance carriers, state prosecutors, law enforcement, and corporate counsel, operating statewide, in person and remotely.
